I'm tired of thinking about COVID. But I have had some things I wanted to share on this Deep Thoughts Thursday with the Boozy Weathergirl.
1
Does anyone else feel like Wilson from Tool Time, all the time now?
2
One bonus to wearing masks – I can finally sing in the grocery store without feeling self-conscious.
3
I have to say, I’m happy that I don’t wake up in a cold sweat anymore, stressing about being on the toilet with no paper to wipe my butt.
4
It’s nice that I can finally find a parking spot at Costco less than 20 miles away from the entrance.
5
Why do people pay for a cleaning person before the party? I mean, doesn’t it make more sense to have them clean after the drunks ransack your home?
6
Why do people have to take pictures of food? Even a blind person conjures up an image when you use words to describe food for Heaven’s sake. Not many are gifted photographers, and it ends up looking more like when it comes back out than before it goes in.
7
Why do you only have to pee immediately after your nail technician finishes your manicure?
8
Why do you only get an itch on the bottom of your foot when you’re driving, wearing sneakers AND socks?
9
Why do you only get itches on your back that cannot be reached by your own hands? And why, when someone else scratches that itch, does it never fully satisfy the burning annoyance?
10
And as we head into prime grilling season, I must ask, why do they call it a hamburger if it’s made of beef?
COVID + summer has messed with my sense of organization so much, that I almost sent this out yesterday. Wishful thinking and full glasses to you always!
