There’s snow on the ground in GA, while we enjoy beautiful spring-like days here in the Northeast. Seriously, W. T. F ?!? While today at least has sun to lift us out of our seasonal depression, the copious amounts gray, rainy days up here have made me mistakenly think I moved to Seattle or Portland. Which makes me think grunge. So here’s a playlist for that. If I can’t talk about the weather, at least I can provide musical entertainment.
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
Jeremy - Pearl Jam
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Interstate Love Song - Stone Temple Pilots
Celebrity Skin - Hole
Everything Zen - Bush
No Excuses - Alice In Chains
Waiting for Somebody - Paul Westerberg
Nearly Lost You - Screaming Trees
Overblown - Mudhoney
Today - Smashing Pumpkins
Tomorrow - Silverchair
Glycerine - Bush
Heroin Girl - Everclear
Girlfriend - Matthew Sweet*
* I don’t think Matthew Sweet is grunge. I just like the song, and I didn’t want anyone to jump off a building after listening to this playlist.
