These new Avatars. Seriously? First, how much more personalization does one need? I mean, it says your damn name right there. Also, now I have to scroll through a CVS coupon list to see anyone’s real comments. Thanks, Facebook.

Back to my phone. Yes, I take it in the bathroom. So, sue me. If I’m engaged in a really quick-response text convo with you, and I suddenly pause, you can bet I really needed to wipe and get off the pot, because my legs fell asleep.

Virtual 5K. Huh? Why yes, I’ve virtually run one of those in my mind several times. While drinking a cocktail. Seated on my porch.

I’m so f’ing sick of Zoom calls. Like, I think they’re making me more anxious than quarantine. If you say the word Zoom to me once this is all over, I might slap you in the face.

I felt like I was in high school this weekend – sort of. I drank with my friends in a parking lot. But, instead of the cops arresting us, they just sat there behind us in their car, and the owner of the restaurant kept sending us out free drinks. Whatever school I’m in now, I like it much better.

I don’t know if I can go back to bartenders making my drinks. I had to drink almost triple my regular amount of mixologist-made concoctions to equal the pours I do at home. I best be stocking up on nips to add to my restaurant cocktails.

If our governors waived the 180-day rules for schools, why in THE HELL are we still torturing ourselves with this school year?
