My liver is the only thing excited about the start of the new school year. As I was sitting in OSHA training yesterday, my colleague and I started joking about the names of certain medical conditions. My mind kept going with that theme, and this is how I ended up writing this week's Deep Thoughts Thursday with The Boozy Weathergirl. (Disclaimer - It goes without saying that NOTHING about these one liners is in any way making fun of the conditions listed.)

Ana Phylaxis. I was in shock at how she took my breath away when I met her.

Sal Monella. Knowing him really cramped my style, and the mere mention of him makes me lose my lunch.

Addi Son. My relationship with her was like a punch in the gut. I'm at a loss (of weight and energy) for a better description.

Shi Gella. Shi was a bloody mess. The thought of her is nauseating.

Sci Atica. Sci was the ultimate pain in the ass (and hip, and leg...)

Verruca. She was a wart on the foot of humanity who just left me salty.

Al Opecia. I'm at a loss as to how to describe this guy. Suffice to say, he made me feel totally bare, to the point of being bald.

Al Zheimer. This Al, he was forgettable.

Park Insons. The mere sight of Park left me shaky, almost weak in the knees. Sadly, we couldn't find the right balance.

An Gina. My breakup with her left me with a heavy heart. I feel a tightness in my chest every time I think of her.
OK, so this might not have been my best work, but you can cut me some slack. I went on to find cocktails with some pretty punny names this week. Maybe you'll enjoy them more than my humor.
